Physical Health

Our Health Center provides services for assessment, examination and simple treatment of short term, acute illness and minor uncomplicated medical problems, reduced cost antibiotic prescriptions and home care instructions. If a condition requires more than one evaluation and one follow-up visit, the patient will be referred to outside medical agencies.

Services not provided: Routine well-physical examinations, dental care, optometry, allergy testing and allergy shots, diagnostic tests (lab or x-ray), filling of outside prescriptions or more complicated treatment such as sutures, casting, physical or respiratory therapy or ongoing care for chronic diseases.

California Community Colleges do not require proof of immunization for enrollment. Depending on the major, immunizations may be necessary prior to acceptance into selected programs. Students should consult with the specific department for further information.
