Hi Cuesta Students!

Our professional team includes medical and mental health staff, such as a nurse practitioner, registered nurses, LMFT, AMFT, a health/wellness promoter, and caring support staff.

We are trained in LGBTQIA+ affirming care and continue ongoing education to better serve our diverse student population. Many students come to us to explore gender identity, sexual orientation, or the coming out process. Our updated intake forms now include preferred pronouns and gender/sexual identity options.

While both SLO and North County campuses offer health services, students are encouraged to visit the San Luis Obispo Health Center for services not available at NCC.

Nicole Johnson

Director of Health Services

"As a registered nurse and leader of our Health Services Team, I work closely with the Cuesta Community and local partners to expand our program and deliver relevant services to our students. Along with promoting health and wellness on campus through our programing, I also offer nursing consultations to students. We currently provide our services via both Telehealth and in-person platforms to ensure accessibility and flexibility for everyone."
