Cuesta College Smoke free

Does someone you care about smoke?

"It can be hard for them to quit smoking"

Some tips:

  • Relevance: Don’t judge, instead find a reason. Why quitting is important to them?
  • Motivation: Talk about all the health, economic, environmental benefits when quitting smoking.
  • Awareness: Talk about the risks, negative consequences and impact to their body and the environment.
  • Support: Be ready to provide information, strategies to quit & resources to help others.

Quitting tobacco is the most important thing you can do to improve your health and prevent long-term disease. Breathe free!
