Library Requests
Cuesta librarians are here for you and your students, in person and online. We support
Cuesta's mission by providing resources such as book or periodical requests, class
library orientations and tours, embedded librarians, research guides, and other instructional
support.
Materials can be placed on reserve by faculty for use at the libraries in San Luis
Obispo and Paso Robles.

Understanding Request Options
Request Materials
If there is an item we do not have, Cuesta employees and students may request print materials for library purchase, such as books, textbooks, databases, and periodicals. We welcome your suggestions!
Library Instruction Request Form
Cuesta faculty may request orientations by librarians, including information literacy, general research skills, and subject-specific classes. Cuesta faculty may request a librarian for help with information literacy and research instruction in a Canvas course, including leading discussions, and/or synchronous or asynchronous video lectures by selecting the Embedded Librarian option on this form. Custom LibGuide requests are also processed here.
Course Reserve Book Request Form
Cuesta faculty and students may request that a book or multimedia item from the library's collection be placed on reserve via this form.
Interlibrary Loan Request Form
