Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT)

An ADT (Associate Degree for Transfer) GUARANTEES Cuesta students, who earn an AS-T or AA-T, admission into a CSU (California State University) bachelor degree program under a "similar" major. The guarantee means that students who earn an ADT degree and meet the CSU minimum eligibility requirements are guaranteed admission to a CSU, but not necessarily to a particular campus or major. • Cuesta currently offers 36 CSU-approved "Transfer Degrees."
• Students may receive a GPA bump in the admission/selection process.
• Students may be able to complete a bachelor’s degree in as little as 60 sem/90 quarter units after transfer.
• See a counselor to create a Student Education Plan (SEP) to plan your sequence of classes for your AA-T/AS-T.
