Join us on a learning adventure as we navigate the different parts of the ocean, such as its geography and topography, as well as the environmental physics that take part in climate and ocean patterns today. You will additionally gain an understanding of how to care for and raise fish, as well as learn the ocean dynamics and wind dynamics that play a part on coastlines all around the world.

Throughout the session, you will be interacting with a paludarium, terrarium, or aquarium of choice.

We will apply knowledge learned about different climates and water to a class project and successfully utilize it in a practical sense.

Jonah Rienks

I am a triple major at Cuesta College transferring to Cal Poly, majoring in Music, Communication Studies, and Foreign Language Studies, minoring in Ocean Science. Even though my majors don't really align with what I am teaching this summer, I absolutely love so much about the ocean and its inhabitants. My mother and I have studied and raised aquatic life for as long as I lived. Looking forward to all the new faces I will get to meet in my class!
