Are you curious about bats in San Luis Obispo County. Join Lisa Murphy on evening acoustic bat monitoring adventures here on the Central Coast. We will use Sonobat Live ™ to identify the bats as they fly near us. Lisa will also share natural history of our California bats, talk about surveying methods, studies, and ways we can help make sure our furry flying friends continue persist her on the coast.

Lisa Murphy was a naturalist Ranger in Yosemite when she first started studying bats, she co- founded the Gold Country Bat Project in the Foothills of the Central Sierra, and now lives in Cambria. She is hoping to utilize these sessions to capture bat species data that will be submitted to Bat Amp to help monitor the bats of San Luis Obispo County. |
