Cuesta College Undocumented Student Allies
Alejandra Aguirre works in the Financial Aid Office as a Bilingual Financial Aid Specialist. She is a Co-Advisor for Latino Leadership Network Club and a Campus Ally for undocumented students. She can help you with Financial aid forms for example, the Dream Act application and the Cuesta scholarship application. She is always ready to help you anyway she can. She also works at the San Luis Obispo and the North County Offices and can meet with students at either campus.
Alicia U. Paniagua
Alicia U. Paniagua is the ESL Outreach, Recruitment, & Retention Coordinator within Student Services, as well as the Co-Advisor to Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlan (MEChA). She takes the time needed to sit with students and help them with the application process. Alicia is an advocate for our students and is always willing to help and support in any way possible.
Dr. Anthony Gutierrez
Dr. Anthony Gutierrez is the Faculty Coordinator, Student Life and Leadership. Dr. Gutierrez is the advisor to the Associated Students (Student Government) and works directly with all campus clubs. In addition to this he oversees the Cultural Center and Food Pantry. Dr. Gutierrez encourages students to get involved on campus and will meet with you to discuss leadership opportunities.
Diane "Dee" Limon
Diane “Dee” Limon is the CaFE Specialist on the North County campus as well as a Co-Advisor to the Associated Student of Community College (ASCC) Latino Leadership Network Student Club. As a first-generation graduate in my family, I am familiar with the many challenges and struggles students face today. The resources, tools and support I show students not only encourages but motivates them into making their dreams a reality.
Glenda is an academic counselor committed to helping undocumented students achieve their educational goals. As an immigrant, first-generation college student, Glenda knows firsthand the challenges students have in navigating our educational institutions and continues to advocate for all students.
Jessica Raybon is a Bilingual Enrollment Success Specialist. She assists students who are new to Cuesta College through the admissions process and offers guidance in course options. Jessica provides support to undocumented students and always takes extra steps to ensure students receive individualized attention when navigating the college’s resources.
Martha M. Davis
Martha M Davis is a Bilingual Financial Aid Specialist with more than 13 yrs experience who can help you apply for scholarships and help you fill out the California dream act application. Furthermore, answer questions and or guide you in the sometimes complicated processes of financial aid.
